This is the place where I celebrate the good news of my past and present Poetry for the People students. I'm so proud of their hard work and thrilled that their poems are finding good homes in the world.

July 8, 2010: Erika Dreifus, P4P1 and P4P2 veteran, has had poems published in the July-August 2010 issue of *Moment* and in the *New Vilna Review*. Her poem "Punktlichkeit" (appearing in *Moment*) is one of my very favorites of all time. Congratulations, Erika!
May 25, 2010: Polly Hatfield has three poems forthcoming in the spring issue of alltopia, where her poem "turnip root," first written in P4P class will appear.
April 2, 2010: Erika Dreifus is a veteran of P4P1 and P4P2. Poems recently accepted for publication will appear in *American Journal of Nursing*, *Christian Science Monitor*, *Moment*, and *Poetica Magazine: Reflections of Jewish Thought*. "The poem which will appear in *Moment* was catalyzed by a comment in an e-mail from Sage, and was then submitted as an assignment for P4P2. 2010 is shaping up to be an amazing year for my poetry practice (knock wood), and I owe much of that to Sage and P4P."
March 14, 2010: Regina Green has three poems and one prose piece forthcoming for publication! Her poems, "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Poet" (written in Poetry for the People class) and "tubercular" will be published in Full of Crow Poetry in the April 2010 issue. She also has one poem called "perhaps" soon to be published in the next issue of nibble. Also, a short prose piece called "caffeine withdrawal" was selected for inclusion in The 6S Review, Issue 2, which will be released on March 16th.
December 21, 2009: Drew Myron wins first place (and $200) in the Penumbra Poetry Contest offered by the Tallahassee Writers Association. "I wrote the poem "Fern, talus, tide" in my first week of Poetry for the People! Clearly, your class works. :)"
December 20, 2009: Four of Kim Klugh's poems have appeared on vox poetica since taking Poetry for the people. Three of her poems have also been selected for the inaugural issue of Eclectic Flash.
