I'm delighted to be offering the next wave of Poetry for the People Levels 1 and 2 classes starting in early May.

Weekly workbooks include in-depth craft lessons, process suggestions, writing prompts, inspiring examples and publishing tips -- all designed to get you excited about and engaged in your poetic life.

Plus, each student receives a detailed critique of the poem of their choice every week and is invited to share their process and discoveries with classmates.

Calling all women writers in PDX: submit to VoiceCatcher!

VoiceCatcher--an annual anthology featuring new and established women writers of diverse perspectives, voices, ages, orientations, and experiences--offers a panoramic view of literary life in the Portland/Vancouver area. We publish both poetry and prose.

The submission window for VoiceCatcher 5 is open from February 1 to March 31, 2010.  For guidelines, please check our website (www.voicecatcher.org). We’d love to hear your voice.
